A very strange thing indeed. You walk onto the shore and all around you are piles of rocks, little cairns constructed carefully, often tediously, just to be different from its neighbour. And there are hundreds of them all scattered around the point.

I realised that when people came to Skye, had travelled for hundreds of miles and reached this farthest westerly point, they just had to leave something and I suppose it’s better than pieces of paper stuck in wall.
